Christmas Day Fun

On Christmas morning Colton had to get up at 6 to head out to work and check on the ponds, at about 9 Stacy, Joe and I headed to Roosevelt to meet up with the rest of the fam and Colton. We ate some yummy breakfast Lisa made then headed down to open presents. After presents Colton had to head back out to check the Ponds again, I went with him. We relaxed the rest the day and went to Sherlock Holmes that night. Chandler surprised all the boys Hyrum, Joe, Colton and Cody pistols. They opened them at the same time but we got good shots of their surprised faces.
Hyrum
Colton had the best face, he was very very excited
The boys and their guns, wish Cody could have been there with them for this picture.
I also had an entertaining present. Hyrum drew my name and had a great time wrapping it. It started with this big bag and torn up newspaper in the bottom. Also in the bottom was an object wrapped in a plastic bag.
I took the plastic bags off and found....

Duct tape! Not just wrapped around a lot but strips ripped and wrapped. Once I got through this I found some more plastic bags. Once I was through those I found....
More duct tape!! I ripped through this and found some more plastic bags which no joke once removed again more duct tape. Under the last layer was a zip lock bag and inside...
My first pair of Jordans!!! Kirsten was so jealous. We always talk about getting ourselves a pair because all the boys give each other Jordans for their birthdays and go on about how comfortable they are, so now its my turn! They are also my favorite color. This Christmas was one for Jordans. I gave Cody some and Colton, Colton gave Joe some and Hyrum gave them to me. It's the Fisher gift to give.
Lisa got a beautiful picture of Christ, it's her favorite one.
Mallory the snow boarder of the fam got her new board and bindings.
Cody gave Hyrum a blanket made by Jen. His favorite football team.
Joe got new shoes exactly like his favorite torn up thrashed pair he wears everywhere. Stacy was very specific to find exactly the same pair so that Joe in agreement in keeping these shoes must throw away his new ones. A month later the old are still lingering.
Chandler got Cabela gift cards from both Colton and I and Joe and Stacy.
Stacy received yummy smelly stuff from Mallory
Kirsten who is 17 years old got her favorite most wanted present of full body pajamas. Love the monkeys on them the best.

Christmas Eve

This year was my first year away from my family. We got the opportunity to spend it Fisher style. I was nervous I would going to have a hard time with being away but turns out I had a harder time building up to the day then on actual Christmas. Colton had to work Christmas Eve and Christmas Day so it was good we weren't trying to go to St. George. My mom sent our presents up early so we could have them to open on Christmas. So before we headed to the parents house we opened presents from Mom and Dale. Then we headed to Roosevelt to start our evening. The Fishers have a unique tradition of eating what they call, "Macho Nachos" They are all the toppings you can imagine for nachos on Doritos with egg nog. It was a glorious, fattening meal. We then played a fun game where we all won a present and watched a movie. We had a fun night and lots of fisherness.
Momma and Papa Fisher eating up
This is all of us, minus Jen, Cody and Maddy, with our presents we won in the dice game.
These three were really enjoying the Nachos, Kirsten, Colton and Hyrum
These are a few gifts from my mom and Dale, Thanks parents!
Most interesting present Colton got, it may look like a meassly baseball bat but nope its actually a pepper grinder. Funny part is Colton doesnt like baseball at all, but its still a great addition to the kitchen.
