Our New Home

So as we may have told many people we were planning on buying a town home in Roosevelt. Well the week we were planning on signing the papers we found out a few things we didnt know and had the feeling we shouldn't go through with it. So within two days we had told everyone no, found out we still had to move out of our apartment, decided we should move to Vernal and found a great new town home that we would be paying cheaper rent for. It all worked out so well and our new home is bigger then the last and a better situation than what we were headed into. Were very happy in vernal and so relieved we didn't go through with the original plans. So here is our new home and our old. The new has three bedrooms and 1 1/2 baths. Old one had 2 bedrooms and one bath.

Here is our bedroom with vaulted ceilings, makes such a difference and we have a great walk in closet. Now both our clothes and fit together in one closet again.

One of our spare rooms. This is the guest room and thanks to Kelly Nielson my cousin we have a futon for single guys at least for now. The other room is a office and storage room. It was still a mess when I took these pictures.

We now have two sets of stairs. It was rough moving things up them but we did it thanks to the wonderful skills of the men in our family. Thanks Boys!

Our big dinning room were things normally in the living room get put. Notice the christmas tree in the corner. One day well have not only a real size one but a live one too.

Is he doing dishes? He is such a good boy! I love that all my food and dishes now fit in cupboards. The fridge is funny, it's so short even I can look on top of it.

This is our tiny living room but we love it. We had to strategically place our furniture to fit but all is well. Two couches with double recliners and a tv what more do you need in here right?

This is the old place. It was a very nice apartment too just not enough room for all our stuff.

Here is our spare room slash storage room. We were running out of places to pill things and still be able to have people visit us. Now we can totally have visitors, so visitors welcome come visit Vernal!

Thanksgiving in the Sun

This year for Thanksgiving we headed south to be with my mom's whole family in Gilbert Arizona, in the Phoenix valley. Our trip began on Tuesday after work. Started in Roosevelt stopped in Orem to pick up bailey and his dog cooper then 6 hours later were in Hurricane to see my dad and Deanne for the first night. Wed we got up and went to my mom's were we left for our 8 hour drive to Gilbert. We had a great thanksgiving day with about 40 people for dinner and over 100 people show up from the rest of the family to hang out, ride horses, and play some basketball. My mom's family is very big and very fun. There is always someone to play sports with and have a great time. My aunt and uncle are in the Philippines on a mission and their house is the one to have the parties, it is plenty big to fit as many people as we had there. We had a great time being around so many family members. Colton and Chris our brother in law met a lot of new people. As we were making our drive home a few days later as the temperature was dropping more and more as we got closer to Roosevelt all Colton and I could think was, lets move south! Maybe after we go their during the summer we can decide if it could really be the place to live. When we got home to St George saturday night Starley was there waiting to open her mission call. That was fun all of us together to open that. First missionary in the fam! Of our family Starley and Trevor were the only ones who didn't make it with us. It was sad not to have them along. Even though there are ten of us we always notice when someone isn't with us.

She is headed to Independence Missouri to serve in the visitors center speaking spanish!

Reading the call

Brad thought he would have fun impersonating my mom and how she says hi to those she hasn't seen in awhile. In his words she makes them feel very special and like you are her favorite relative. He would get big eyes and open his arms wide and say their name really loud and excitedly and huge them. Here he is going after Dale.

Jenna, Colton, Me, Sterling, and Kim. Oh we are such cute cousins. These two are just a year younger than me. We were all really close growing up with a few more around our age too.

We love Kim! She lived with me for about a month and a half before we got married so I wouldnt be by myself. I wish we could have always lived together in college.

Brooke jumped on a little horse and took off on a dead sprint around the arena coming to a hault just in front of where she is sitting now. She did this at least 5 times. She couldnt reach the stirrups so we all thought for sure she would go flying off.

John and his girl friend Katy who just got engaged two nights ago. We are very excited for him. The family has been waiting for this day for John for many moons.

On wed before Thanksgiving we watched Jenna play in her powderpuff footbball game. She as a ninth grader beat the eighth grades. Actually they killed them. it was fun to watch.

We were he number one fans, me, Colton, Mckenna, Chris, Star, and Trev. Mom was taking the picture.

Sister Coming To Visit

Mckenna and Chris came to visit us in Roosevelt. It was fun to finally get some of my family out to visit and see where we live. They seemed to have had a lot of fun. We took them out shooting and had a great time.

Chris shot Colton's big hunting rifle the 270 and scoped himself. You can see the results of that above his eye. The gun kicked back and the scope hit him. It was pretty entertaining to see him try that for the first time.

Colton hasnt gotten a picture with his new truck yet so we had him pose. We love our new truck it has been great!

Yes we are the hottest hunters out here in the basin. Watch out we will take you down if we have to.

Strawberry Camping

One day I decided I wanted to go camping and fishing at Strawberry Reservoir that is about an hour out of Roosevelt. My dad's family use to go there a lot so I thought, lets get us all together and camp and fish. We had a blast! My grandma and grandpa came and the Leavitts, dad's sister Jolene, Rick, David, Trevor and Wendy. Dad's brother Bob, Tami, and Preston. Our family dad, Deanne, Jenna, me, Colton, Bailey and Rachel Bay's girlfriend. Were hoping it will be a family tradition. We fished every morning and night, relaxed, played some games, roasted much in the fire and went shooting.

We played ultimate crouqet as we called it. We set it up in the sage brush and weeds and had a different direction than normal. It was intense especially since we are all so competitive with each other. Jenna, sister, and david, cousin, here in this picture with me.

This wasnt from this trip but I liked it of my grandma and grandpa williams. We didnt get a lot of pictures of them from the trip.

Bay and his dog Cooper again. We just caught him holding him like this. He is a little big for this now but that doesnt stop bailey. Cooper stayed in the trailer with me colton jenna deanne and dad because grandpa wouldnt let him stay with bailey in his camper. Well cooper got a little sick so he threw up on jennas bed the first night twice and once the next night. he was very perky after that though.

Bailey was very excited about this fish he caught. He kicked the fishes butt as he put it when he pulled it out.

Dad separated himself from the rest of us for a bit. He is very determined to catch a fish.

He was so determined he took off without all of us one morning and caught this fish. Biggest one caught on the trip. It was actually an illegal size so he brought it home and fillet it quickly.

We went out a little later one night and it got cold so my dad built a fire to keep us warm. A storm was rolling in so we had to get out of there quickly

Bryce and Morgan Fielding Bangerter's Wedding

My best friend Morgan from high school got married on September 4 in the new oquer mt temple. She was so pretty and it was so great to be in the temple with her for her sealing. I was only able to make it to her sealing but hey thats the most important part. It was a happy day!
